Laurie & Emmanuel’s score from “Advent Rising"

On July 6 2005 during the unforgettable “Video Games Live” evening, the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra performed the music Emmanuel and Laurie composed in partnership with Tommy Tallarico Studios for the video game “Advent Rising.” Featured as a soprano soloist, Laurie delivered an outstanding performance when she was asked to reprise her performances from the sound track recording, including their popular “Muse” and “Poeta” scores.

Additionally, for the concert, Emmanuel and Laurie were asked by acclaimed “Myst” composer and the concert’s producer/music director, Jack Wall to lend their talents to other portions of the evening. Their orchestration of Marty O’Donnell’s suite from “Halo” featured the legendary guitarist Steve Vai and Laurie performed along side Cindy Wall and the mega-popular “Video Game Pianist” Martin Leung on “Final Fantasy” and Michael Giacchino’s "Medal of Honor."

Renowned composer Tommy Tallarico collaborates with Emmanuel Fratianni and Laurie Robinson on the groundbreaking video game trilogy “Advent Rising” (Majesco for XBOX.)

In their first foray into scoring for video games Emmanuel and Laurie were asked to provide additional music, the main title, arranging, orchestration and conducting for this video game which used a 70-piece orchestra and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Boys Choir.

The sessions were recorded by legendary sound mixer Armin Steiner at Paramount scoring stage “M” in Los Angeles by the city’s best film players and in Salt Lake City where the choirs are based.

The video game will be released in April together with a soundtrack album, which will open with the piece “O Muse” featuring Laurie Robinson’s solo vocal performance and an additional hundred and twenty performers.

Emmanuel Fratianni provides additional music for “JAG.”

For the last five seasons, Emmanuel has been a regular orchestrator on CBS’ hit military courtroom drama “J.A.G.,” one of only a handful of network shows to record with a live thirty five-piece orchestra.

In November, Emmy award-winning composer Steve Bramson, who has scored so far over two hundred episodes of the series, collaborated with Emmanuel for two episodes.
For the occasion supervising producer Julie Watson offered Emmanuel screen credits at the end of both shows acknowledging his contribution to the series.

Laurie provides music for ABC Micro-minis

Selected by ABC/Disney’s Talent Development division, Laurie was asked to bring her orchestral comedy scoring to the adorable micro-mini series “Mosquito Cupid” for ABC’s Monday Night of Comedy campaign.

Formulated on the old-fashioned sponsored programming, the campaign was the brainchild of ABC’s director of programming Carmen Smith at ABC talent division. Laurie got a chance to work with talented new director Jay Torres and writer Kris Young as well as the Touchstone Television’s music department, which is always a pleasure.
